ASUS introduced the Chromebook CX1, a light, durable and economical laptop, which strengthens its catalog of equipment with the Google operating system.

Chromebooks have been around for a long time and a real alternative to Windows PC or Mac in almost all areas of computing. Chrome OS improves its weak points (greater application support, offline use, modern desktop interface…) and maintains the strengths that distinguished it from its beginning: simplicity, ease of use, administration or security.

Although it doesn’t have such a huge Windows offering, all OEMs have different solutions in their catalog and this support has been essential in expanding the platform capable of beating Windows in some segments of the education market.

No availability or pricing has been announced for this ASUS Chromebook CX1, which is sure to hit the market (in two colors) based on base specs relatively moderate price within reach of all budgets and for any type of user, consumer, business or education.
