Xiaomi company suddenly introduced its smart glasses Mijia Glasses Camera, which it has been working on for about two years. It would seem that they were designed primarily for augmented reality – the manufacturer emphasized the functions of translating texts.

The basis of the novelty was the eponymous octa-core Qualcomm processor, complemented by 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. Two sensors are used as the camera system: the main sensor has a resolution of 50 MP and is equipped with an 8 megapixel module, a lens with 5x optical zoom (15x digital zoom) and optical image stabilization.

Information is displayed on the next generation screen of Sony – Micro OLED. It is located above the right eye and has a pixel density of 328 pixels per inch at a diagonal of 0.23 inches.

The Mijia Glasses Camera is powered by a 1020mAh battery, which is enough for 100 minutes of continuous shooting (how long the smart glasses will work in normal mode is unknown). The glasses are charged via a magnetic connector from a 10 W adapter. As a result, the relatively small battery is due not only to size limitations, but also to weight limitations – the smart glasses weigh 100 grams.

Users who financed the project purchased the Mijia Glasses Camera for $370, and in bulk, these smart glasses will be available for $400.
