The Warmate unmanned aerial barrage complex is designed to destroy enemy equipment and objects. It is classified as an “aircraft projectile” or “barrage munition”. It was developed by the Polish company WB Electronics.
The drone can be used with the FlyEye UAV, which provides intelligence. Depending on the warhead used, it is used to detect and destroy targets such as personnel, lightly armored and unarmored vehicles, reconnaissance/communication/EW systems antennas and field reinforcements.
The Kamikaze drone can be used as a stand-alone system, carried in a backpack, or carried as an integral element with the vehicle. Such a system is equipped with control modules that allow to fully automate most of the flight stages and assist the operator in the aiming phase of the target.
The operation of the dam ammunition is reproduced in real time on the operator’s screen based on video transmission. The operator has full control of choosing the operating mode of the system between reconnaissance or one-time destruction of the target.
In its basic version, the Warmate is equipped with a single electric motor and a pusher propeller that enables the 1.1m long and 1.4m wingspan 4kg drone to reach cruise speeds of up to 80km/h. Up to 150 km/h in mod attacks Maximum flight altitude is 500 meters. Flight time is 60 minutes.
The Warmate UAV has quiet driving, low radar visibility, high target defeat accuracy and is ready in just 5 minutes, making it very useful in any battle.
An important component of the barrage ammunition is a replaceable warhead. Depending on the nature of the mission, the Warmate warhead can be equipped with cumulative warheads to destroy lightly armored and unarmored vehicles, fragmentation warheads to destroy enemy manpower, or thermobaric warheads to eliminate fortified positions.
In addition to the kamikaze mode, the Warmate can be equipped with a GS-9 warhead with stabilized day and night cameras, enabling the drone to be used for surveillance, detection, tracking and target identification. After completing the mission, he can land with a parachute.
