Rocket Lab canceled the launch of the Electron launch vehicle with the American reconnaissance satellite NROL-199 due to adverse weather conditions.
As reported by Ukrinform, this was reported by Space.com.
Initially, the launch was scheduled for Tuesday at 8:00 am Kyiv time from the spaceport in New Zealand. However, due to strong winds, the launch was delayed several times and then cancelled.

The company has not yet announced a new launch date for NROL-199.
It is stated that the NROL-199 spacecraft itself is a joint project of the US National Space Agency (NRO) and the Australian Ministry of Defense.
Rocket Lab said a day ago, “The satellite will support the NRO in monitoring international issues, transmitting important information to government agencies and decision makers.”
As Ukrinform reports, the company Rocket Lab has already launched the Electron launch vehicle with the American reconnaissance satellite NROL-162 on July 13.
