As reported by Ukrinform, the Ministry of Digital Transformation announced it on Telegram.

Thanks to this, users of the application will receive notifications about the start and end of five types of alarms: airstrikes, artillery fire, street fighting, chemical threat and radiation hazard.

It should be noted that unique notifications are created for each alarm type. In addition to audio signals, the app also sends text messages with action suggestions depending on the type of threat.

Information on all types of hazards is transmitted by the responsible operators in the regional administrations of Ukraine. Coordination of alarms is provided by the State Emergency Service.

The update is available for iOS, Android and Huawei users.

According to the Tsifa Ministry, the “Airborne Alarm” app has been downloaded 11 million times.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine explained why they did not publish detailed information about air threats.
