According to Microsoft’s announcement, the main new feature in Windows 11 build 25174 is the new Game Pass widget. A new widget, available in preview, gives PC Game Pass subscribers quick access to their game libraries. By clicking on the game highlighted in the widget, the user will be taken to the Xbox app, where they can install it, check analytics and other information. in future the widget will allow the user to access their Xbox profile, view personalized game recommendations, and more.

To add a widget to the Windows 11 widget panel, simply open the panel and click the “+” icon next to your profile picture to display the available widgets. Then click the “+” icon next to the Game Pass widget to add it to your dashboard.

In addition to the new Game Pass widget, Windows 11 Insider Build 25174 also updates File Explorer so you can now open a new tab by middle-clicking the navigation bar. Note that this only applies to Windows Insiders who have File Explorer tab enabled.
