So when it leaked a few months ago that Microsoft might be working on a family plan for Game Pass, I thought it was great news, though I understood that if it finally came to fruition, the wait can be quite long. And I insist on it if it should materialize. The good news is that it will eventually materialize, and the wait might be shorter than you originally imagined.

And it is because the company itself has confirmed it and has already started the first tests in this regard. Game Pass users in Colombia and Ireland can start testing the Xbox Game Pass family plan starting today. For this, they will need to purchase the “Xbox Game Pass – Insider Preview” Game Pass plan from the Microsoft Store. Thus, the remaining days of your current subscription will be prorated against the price difference between the current plan and the new family plan.
