The DJI Avata drone is the second model of DJI FPV drone, but despite being a FPV drone, it is designed for a very different style than Drone with first person viewthe first model of the company, released in early 2021. Avata is an FPV style drone. KinoWoop, which includes models designed for flying indoors, with a small space, including the possibility of the pilot passing between people. This FPV drone profile provides propeller protection for much safer flights than the larger cinematic-style FPV drone for outdoor flying without major interactions.

Little is known about the specifications and features of the DJI Avata other than the style of the drone and that, based on the leaked images, it will use O3 (OcuSync 3.0) communication technology, the same as the FPV drone. Air 2S, Mini 3 Pro, and also available on Mavic 3 (with O3+ support). This digital communication technology enables communication between the drone, the goggles and the controller, allowing long distances to be controlled with low latency, which is extremely important for operational control, which is critical for FPV drones.

Along with the drone, DJI may release new FPV goggles different from the model shipped with the FPV drone.
