Autel Robotics has released a new firmware for a line of drones Autel EVO Nano Series (Nano and Nano+) and Autel EVO Lite Series (Lightweight and Lightweight+). In addition to drones, the application Outel Sky has also been updated to support new additions to drones. We already have a full review of the EVO Lite+ model, and tomorrow (Sunday) we will publish a review of the EVO Nano+, one of the main competitors of the DJI Mini 3 Pro and Mini 2 drones.
EVO Nano models received firmware version 1.4.9 and EVO Lite models received firmware version 1.4.64. In both cases, the innovations are identical, without any novelty or specific correction in one of the lines. It is also worth noting that NANO models do not yet support Dynamic Track technology, a well-known tracking feature. This functionality is promised through a firmware update that hasn’t arrived yet.
News
– Added flight log upload to Autel Sky.
– Added the ability to record a comment and sound alert from obstacle sensors
– Added sound notification for Quick Shot and Orbit Hyperlapse on given targets.
Fixes and optimizations:
– Increased range limit from 500m to 5000m.
– Improved performance of NANO and LITE models when flying with propeller protection (when flying in standard/standard mode).
Autel Sky Application Site
As already mentioned, in order to use the new features, you need to update the Autel Sky app to version 1.4.26 on Android and 1.4.20 on iOS.
