The Ministry of Digital Transformation discussed the initiation of a child’s permission to travel abroad in the Diya application.
As reported by Ukrinform, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced this on Telegram.
“Allowing a child to travel abroad is quite a painstaking process. Absolutely from paper and bureaucratic background. You need to find all paper documents and certificates, and most importantly – time and money for a notary. And also – carry a paper statement certified by a notary with you. You can accidentally lose it and you will have to go through the whole procedure all over again, ”said Fedorov.
He noted that most EU countries have already introduced a specific electronic form for such a permit. For example, in France it can be easily downloaded from the website, while in Italy, Germany and Lithuania there is no such procedure.
“Today, the team and I discussed the launch of a child’s permission to travel abroad in “Dia”. So everything can be done in a few clicks on your smartphone. Simple and convenient. And most importantly – free. This is especially true in wartime. Many Ukrainian women with children go abroad “Parliament supported our joint initiative with the Ministry of Justice at the first reading. We are actively preparing for the launch and await the MPs’ decision during the second reading,” he said.
As reported by Ukrinform, in May the Ministry of Digital Transformation allowed changes to the surname, first name, surname and position of FOP online through the Diya portal.
