It looks like we’re about to get a bunch of foldable phones. We already know that Samsung will announce the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 tomorrow. After that, Moto Razr 2022 will be launched on August 11 and now Xiaomi has announced the arrival of Mix Fold 2 for those who are interested. It will also be released on August 11th, which means we’re going to have a tough game.

It looks like August will be the month of foldable phones as the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 will launch on August 11th.

The company went ahead and posted a teaser on its Weibo profile showing the metal part of the Mix Fold 2. We can say that it is the hinge we see in the image. Unfortunately, it’s nothing short of the fact that the new phone will have a camera setup that will be optimized by Leica thanks to a recent partnership.

The Mix Fold 2 will likely inherit the design language we’ve seen on Galaxy Foldable phones, meaning it will be an inward-folding device, and I think this design is probably the best in terms of functionality.

Previous sources had suggested that the Mix Fold 2 will feature a 6.5-inch flip screen and an 8-inch foldable display, but this time the refresh rate of the displays will be increased to 120Hz instead of the previous model’s 60Hz.

Given that it’s a flagship foldable device, we expect the Mix Fold 2 to have the best hardware and software, as well as optics and build quality.
