China launches three Earth remote sensing satellites into orbit
The Galactic Energy company’s Chinese carrier rocket Ceres-1 has successfully launched three Earth remote sensing satellites into sun-synchronous orbit.

As reported by Ukrinform, Xinhua reported it.

The launch of the carrier rocket took place at 12:11 Beijing time on Tuesday, August 9, from Jiuquan Cosmodrome in northwest China.

They then reached the planned orbit.

Two of the satellites will provide commercial remote sensing services, and the third will be used to test the polarization camera’s multi-mode remote sensing technology.

Developed by Beijing-based high-tech company Galactic Energy, the 20-metre CERES-1 launch vehicle is a small-scale solid-fuel launch vehicle capable of launching microsatellites into orbit.

This launch was the third flight mission in the CERES-1 rocket series.

As reported by Ukrinform, Chinese authorities on Thursday (August 4th) launched three new satellites into orbit, including a spacecraft, to monitor carbon in Earth’s ecosystem.
