The launch of the Falcon 9 launch vehicle was carried out at 05:14 Kyiv time from the spaceport in Florida (USA).
Already after 15 minutes, 52 satellites of the Starlink project were placed in the planned orbit.
The launch set a new record, marking the 21st Starlink mission of 2022 and the 35th orbital flight for SpaceX since the start of the year.
The company’s previous record was the launch within a year of the 31st mission achieved in 2021.
As reported by Ukrinform on July 24, Elon Musk’s company SpaceX has successfully launched 53 new Internet communications satellites into space as part of the large-scale Starlink project.
SpaceX has permission to put 12,000 Starlink satellites into orbit and has applied for permission to launch another 30,000 spacecraft.
Currently, there are more than three thousand Internet communication satellites in space within the framework of the large-scale Starlink project.
