Meta company, which owns Instagram, responded to the objection of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and unblocked the Azovstal Defenders Association page.
As reported by Ukrinform, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov announced this on Telegram.
“Association of Defenders of Azovstal has already been unblocked on Instagram. We thank Meta for the quick response and look forward to the restoration of other Azov-related pages,” he wrote.
As Ukrinform reported on August 9, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine appealed to Meta, the owner of Instagram, regarding the blocking of the Azovstal Defenders Association’s account on this social network.
In addition, articles were sent to Meta about the page of the president of the association and the 5 blocked pages regarding the activities of “Azov”.
