Ukrainian IT company CHI Software opened an office in Kobe (Japan) thanks to the effective cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Informatics Association.

It is noted that in the past year, with the support of Ukrainian diplomats, together with the Kobe city administration, the Ukrainian Informatics Association organized a series of meetings and webinars where the Japanese side met with technological solutions and high-quality IT services. Ukraine. The result of the cooperation was the opening of the office of the Ukrainian IT company CHI Software in Kobe.

“In the spring of last year, we, as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, began to systematically create new opportunities for cooperation with foreign partners for Ukrainian IT companies. This work produces results that become especially relevant during a full-scale war. After all, the stability of the Ukrainian economy is extremely important for victory in the war. and every successful negotiation, every new contract, every open office makes it stronger. Ukrainian diplomats are making maximum efforts to help the business world and work with exporters for results,” he said.

Kostyantyn Vasyuk, managing director of the IT Ukraine Association, noted that it is a great honor for the association to know that a strong partnership with Japan has developed and brought practical results.

“We will continue to work with the Kobe city government to develop aspects of our partnership for the benefit of all parties. I would like to thank the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine for the support and relations with foreign countries,” said Vasyuk.

Olena Morozova, head of the project management department of CHI Software, expressed her gratitude to the management of the city of Kobe and personally to the mayor of Kobe, Mr. We would like to thank Business and the Embassy of Ukraine for their extensive support in opening the company in Japan.

The IT Export Boost project started on March 5, 2021. Its main task is to promote the promotion of IT exports in foreign markets, thanks to the capabilities of the network of diplomatic missions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine abroad.

As reported, from May to June, between 50,000 and 57,000 IT professionals left Ukraine from abroad.
