Even a few days after the announcement of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, Xiaomi presented its new folding smartphone Mix Fold 2.

The device turned out to be very interesting. For example, the head of the company did not lie when he said that the device is one of the thinnest in recent times. When unfolded, the new Mix Fold is just 5.4mm!

It is also worth mentioning the Eco2 OLED technology used in the 8.02-inch internal screen of the smartphone. Its essence lies in the rejection of one layer. This allows you to increase brightness and improve color rendering.

The screen is made with LTPO technology, as is customary for big gamers. This means it supports a variable refresh rate. In the case of Mix Fold 2, it is between 1 and 120 Hz.

Based on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, the new product has a battery capacity of 4500 mAh and a supported fast charging power of 67 W.

Xiaomi developed the main camera together with Leica experts. It is represented by three modules. The main one is 50 MP. There are also modules for 13 and 8 MP.

As for pricing, the company will charge $1,335 for the 12/256GB base version, $1,485 for the 12/512GB version, and $1,780 for the 12GB/1TB top model. For comparison, the base Galaxy Z Fold 4 model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of persistent memory costs more than the premium Mix Fold 2 – $1,799.
