Microsoft has opened access to the Emoji library: over 1,500 Fluent style emoticons

Microsoft has opened access to the Emoji library containing 1,538 emoticons. All of them are made in different versions: flat, three-dimensional, colored, monochrome, etc. Library content is available on Figma and GitHub, distributed under the MIT license, and can be used without restriction.

The company claims that all emojis are compatible with the Windows 11 set. Last year, the Emoji library was updated as part of Microsoft 365’s evolution into a more immersive ecosystem. The software giant calls emoticons important communicators that allow you to overcome language barriers, convey emotions and some communication nuances.

The library includes a wide variety of emoji in SVG, PNG, and JPG formats, but there are some exceptions. For example, Microsoft Office’s famous Clippy paperclip, trademarks, flags, and phrases about video games are missing. The company explains this with legal nuances.
