The Verkhovna Rada adopted the official statistical law, which provides for the creation of an IT platform on which it will be possible to download, receive and distribute high-quality data.
As reported by Ukrinform, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov announced this on Telegram.
“Today, the Verkhovna Rada passed a bill on official statistics. This is an important step in the digital transformation of the State Statistics Service. The bill provides for the creation of an IT platform from which you can quickly download, acquire and distribute quality data,” he said.
According to the minister, statistics will be available in real time thanks to the IT platform. In addition, legal entities will no longer submit reports for the collection of statistics on paper, which is another step in building a paperless country.
The bill on official statistics (registration no. 5886) was introduced by the Council of Ministers, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the bill at its first reading on 1 July. According to the data available on the official website of the parliament, 255 deputies voted for the bill to be accepted as a whole and in the second repeated reading.
As reported, the Ministry of Digital Transformation is working on the digitization of the notary public, where the first electronic service in the Diya application will be the granting of a child’s permission to travel abroad.
