Dell has unveiled two new Alienware gaming monitors that, as usual with the brand specializing in high-performance devices and peripherals, stand out features and design.
The two new monitors are the Alienware 25 (AW2523HF) and the Alienware 27 (AW2723DF). They differ in size, resolution and features, but use a similar design including a new, smaller hexagonal mount to give gamers more room for accessories and peripherals. Also new is a slide-out headphone holder to remove for those not using them.
New Dell Alienware 25 it mounts a 25-inch screen based on a panel signed by LG with FHD resolution and a refresh rate that rises to 360 Hz. Its response time is only 0.5 ms and the coverage of color palettes covers 99% of sRGB.
Top model in size is Dell Alienware 27. Also from LG, the panel increases the size to 27 inches as well as the native resolution to 2K to offer 2560 x 1440 pixels. Its standard refresh rate is 240Hz, although users can overclock it to 280Hz, it supports 95 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
Both models support high-end image synchronization technologies, VESA AdaptiveSync Display, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and compatibility with NVIDIA G-Sync. Its ergonomic base features swivel, swivel, tilt and height adjustments, 360-degree ventilation and LED backlighting.
They have DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 inputs, as well as a USB 3.2 Gen1 multi-input port hub. The new Alienware gaming monitors are available for pre-order today on Dell’s website with official prices of $450 and $650 for the 25-inch and 27-inch models, respectively.
