WhatsApp has reported that as of April 30, it will stop working on some computers. The application has attracted more and more users, and the instant messaging service is no longer used just for entertainment. But many academic and even business activities are conducted from there.

Hence the importance of the service playing a fundamental role for many users and knowing that your device will start to become incompatible with the service can cause various inconveniences.

WhatsApp has informed its users on its official page that several changes will come to the platform. Here is the list of devices that will no longer receive service as of the end of April:

• Mobile phones still running the Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
• Devices with Android 4.1 or lower operating system.
• Devices running iOS 10 or lower.

In other words, users running Android Apple Pie, Banana Bread, Cupcake 1.5, Donut 1.6, Eclair 2.0, Froyo 2.2, Gingerbread 2.3, Honeycomb 3.0 and Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 will not be able to use WhatsApp.

To find out if your device is one of the non-accepted mobiles, simply go to the configuration or settings section. Then go to the System Information tab and there you will find the properties.
