Sega created the illusion of nostalgia by announcing the Mega Drive Mini 2 (Genesis Mini 2 in America). Among the features shown at the time were six-button controls on the right side (although compatible with the three-button controls of the first version of the console), the sale of a scaled-down version of the Mega CD mode to the prop mode, and that it would contain a total of 50 titles, of which the company she only advanced to a small list of the most promising.
Two months later, Sega released the complete list of games that will come pre-installed on the Mega Drive Mini 2, which will eventually be 60 (60+1 says Sega). Of the 60 titles, or at least 60 are the ones that add up to all the ones announced, 58 were previously released for consoles or are new ports, while two are completely unpublished, meaning they weren’t released at the time. .
The two unreleased games are Devi & Pii and Star Mobile, which were inserted into the list of games included as bonuses, along with a number of new ports for the platform.
