TikTok stories are short videos of up to 15 seconds that disappear within 24 hours of posting. Despite being heavily integrated into other platforms such as Snapchat, Facebook, WhatsApp or Instagram, it is a new innovation on this platform – in fact, it’s still in the testing phase.

This innovation, approved by the company, TechCrunchassumes the availability of more sharing options. In addition to the two mentioned social networks, it is also possible to share the stories on Reddit, or even copy the link of this ephemeral video.
It should be noted that this innovation only affects stories, not regular TikTok videos that users can share as ‘reels’ on Facebook and Instagram.
