The South Korean giant officially introduced the Samsung Galaxy A04, a smartphone that points directly to the mid-low range, and that it preserves the classic design that the company has accustomed us to within this assortment. This means that the Samsung Galaxy A04 uses an all-screen front with fairly sharp edges and that it integrates the front camera into a waterdrop-shaped notch. On the back, we see a dual camera setup integrated directly into the case, without an island.

It’s important that we don’t confuse the Samsung Galaxy A04 with the Samsung Galaxy A04s we talked about yesterday because they are two different models, although the similarity at the level of design and quality of execution is more than evident. And speaking of quality finishes, this new Samsung terminal is made of plastic, which is normal considering that this is a budget smartphone and that said material is cheap and durable.

On the specification level, the Samsung Galaxy A04 has a screen 6.5 inches with HD+ resolution. The SoC model it uses has not been specified, but we do know that it has an octa-core CPU and that it will be accompanied by different RAM configurations and storage capacities, although not all of these options may be available in all markets. . According to the source of the news, it can be configured with 4 GB, 6 GB and 8 GB of RAM and with a storage capacity of 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB, which we can expand with a microSD card up to 1 TBC.

The camera setup is quite modest, but understandable given the range the Samsung Galaxy A04 is targeting. On the front we have a 5 MP camera and on the back we find a 50 MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. This terminal has 4G connectivity, supports Bluetooth 5 and Wi-Fi 5 and comes with a 5,000 mAh battery. We imagine it will come with Android 12 operating system, although this is not yet confirmed.

The price and launch date of the Samsung Galaxy A04 have also not been confirmed, but given that the terminal is already listed on Samsung’s official website its availability should be a matter of days, and after looking at its specifications, it is clear that this model should be around 150 euros (in the basic configuration). The said configuration should offer acceptable performance, thanks to the octa-core CPU and 4 GB of RAM. The storage capacity does not reach 32 GB, but the microSD card slot makes up for it.
