As The Verge reporters noted, Wednesday morning’s Facebook feed was suddenly flooded with questionable posts posted to the pages of artists like Lady Gaga, Nirvana and The Beatles.

The cause of the problem is called “configuration change” in Meta.

“A configuration change made earlier today caused some people to experience issues with the Facebook feed. We have fixed the issue as quickly as possible for anyone affected and we apologize for the inconvenience.”
