The countdown has begun for TEKNOFEST, the festival of records. Turkey’s largest aviation, space and technology festival, TEKNOFEST, followed closely by millions of people every year, will be held this year in Samsun on the other side of the Black Sea region. Held at Samsun Çarşamba Airport between August 30 and September 4, 2022, the festival will bring technology enthusiasts together in the city where the national struggle began.

With the vision of the National Technology Move, it is held for a technology-developing Turkey for five years and in its fifth year it took on an international dimension. TEKNOFEST is held under the leadership of the Turkish Technology Team Foundation and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, along with 101 institutions, including ministries, presidencies, public and private sector organizations, academic institutions and media companies that play a vital role in national technology our country’s ecosystem. Keep growing and getting stronger every year; Millions of people visit TEKNOFEST, which hosts world-famous names, full of technology, science, air shows, exhibitions, summits, workshops, awards ceremonies, stage shows, concerts and events over six days, where enthusiasm and excitement never abate. Turkey’s leading public and private sector companies exhibit their most innovative products at the fairgrounds, excitement and adrenaline in the air for a moment, National Wings’ show flights, all of which are domestically produced, AKINCI Assault Unmanned Aerial Vehicle ( TİHA), Bayraktar TB2, Hürkuş, Atak Helicopter, Gökbey Helicopter, Aksungur and Turkish Armed Forces F-16 aircraft and the stunning aerobatic flights of Solo Turkish and Turkish Stars bring the festival excitement to the top. While the “Scene is Yours” event organized within the framework of the festival will be part of the entertainment of the youth, students in the educational workshops; experiences an adventure full of science, technology and space.

Refik Anadol “Memories of Machinery: Space Exhibition”, organized this year as part of the festival, offers visitors a full program of science shows, vertical wind tunnel and virtual reality tunnel for 6 days. The “Technology Competitions”, organized within the framework of the festival to support the projects of thousands of young people working in these fields with the aim of increasing the interest of young people in the production and development of national technology, were held in 40 main competitions- 99 different categories this year. More than 150 thousand teams and more than 600 thousand participants from 81 provinces and 107 countries entered the competitions. For those who want to visit TEKNOFEST, online registration applications have been launched on the teknofest website. Those who wish to attend TEKNOFEST Black Sea, which will be held at Samsun Çarşamba Airport between August 30 and September 4, 2022, as a visitor, can register online by filling the form on the website. Visitors under the age of 7 do not have to register, but are allowed to visit the festival with their parents. Applications for schools can also be made on the website.
