British engineers from the company Escend presented their first development – electric roller skates. The device is in the fundraising phase on Kickstarter. At the same time, the developers have already shown how it looks and examples of use.

Escend Blades are motorized wheeled platforms where you can put on your own shoes. Boats with UFS or Trinity mounting systems can be used thanks to additional adapters.

The total weight of the two platforms is 7.5 kg, and the body is made of aviation aluminum. The lithium battery can be replaced quickly, the motor in the rear hub has 400W power.

According to the authors, both platforms are controlled simultaneously using a common wireless remote. It can be used to accelerate, stop and change driving modes.

One charge of Escend Blades should be enough for 15 km of travel and the maximum speed the rollers can develop is 25 km/h. The price of the device during the pre-order period is $ 756. In the future, the price will increase by another 25%.
