“During three days, 150 participants—design engineers, radio engineers, drone operators, and programmers—will develop new digital solutions in the field of military technology,” the message said.
The aim of the hackathon is to increase the production and technical support of drones to a level that will be created in Ukraine instead of buying drones from various companies around the world.
The Ministry of Digitization is implementing the Drone Hackathon together with the Ukraine Start-Up Fund, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, DK “Ukroboronprom” and the IDI Camp.
As reported, the hackathon for design engineers, radio engineers, drone operators and programmers working on Python, Java, R, C++, Tensorflow or doing embedded development will take place within the framework of the “Army of Drones” project.
The Drone Hackathon will consist of two parts. The first is to work remotely on the challenges teams will face after registration. The second is the conclusion of cases and presentation in Kiev from August 26 to 29.
