The project of granting children permission to travel abroad in Diya application is almost ready. The Ministry of Statistics is waiting for the adoption of the relevant draft law.

Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced this in a nationwide telethon broadcast, Ukrinform correspondent reported.

“The project for electronic permission for children to travel abroad is 90% ready. Now we are waiting for the bill to be approved by parliament,” he said.

According to him, at the beginning of September, the Draft Law No. 6146 “On Amending Certain Laws Regarding the Temporary Separation of Children by Parents outside Ukraine” is expected to be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada for second reading.

As stated by the Minister, explanatory work is currently being carried out with the deputies regarding the amendment of the procedure for issuing permits.

By the way, this will be a free service, but now you have to pay from 100 UAH to 3,000 UAH for a corresponding certificate from the notary.” . “We have a similar situation with car customs clearance. We have almost finished our work on this service technically, now we are waiting for the relevant laws to be passed.”

As reported, the Ministry of Digital Transformation is working on the digitization of the notary public, where the first electronic service in the Diya application will be the granting of a child’s permission to travel abroad. According to the Minister of Transformation, the data from Diya will be entered into the registry where border guards can check the permit.
