This was reported by Space.com, Ukrinform reports.
“Since today’s launch failed, NASA may try to send Artemis 1 to its mission to the Moon on at least one of two alternate days. If the agency resolves the issue with engine 3, it will be able to attempt a reboot on September 2 or 5 in favorable weather conditions.”
At the same time, it was stated that if the launch fails on any of these days, the next window will open as early as October.
“Among other things, launch possibilities are limited by the phases of the Moon and the lighting conditions during reentry,” the article says.
As reported, due to technical difficulties, NASA canceled at the last minute the planned test launch of the Artemis-1 mission, which was supposed to return a human to the moon.
