LPublished job offers and patents registered technologist In many cases, they are the most interesting source of information. And the point is that in the former you can still mask a little (but only a little, especially when looking for very specialized profiles), but in the latter we can find very specific and extremely useful information to know what they are working on. Something especially interesting if it involves products or services that have not yet been published.
So some control over both things can confirm us (or at least give us enough assurance) about projects about which we expect unofficial news, in the absence of official ones. And a clear example of a project that has not yet been confirmed, but has been showing signs of being active again for some time, is the foldable Google Pixel, a project that got a lot of talk last year and seemed canceled at the end of the year, but about a month later he returned and began to show signs of life.

And it looks like we have new signs that the project could be moving forward based on two patents (WO2022177596 and WO2022177607) registered by Google and which clearly aims for a foldable smartphone design. However, it is important to keep in mind that they were introduced last year, specifically on June 29 and October 1, so there is also the possibility that they were kept for licensing after the project was canceled. However, this, combined with the new icon we told you about a month ago, makes us think that the project is still alive.
Moreover, their names leave no room for doubt. The first of them is called “STORAGE DEVICE WITH CAMERA PLACED ON THE FRAME”, i.e. a folding device with a camera located in the frame. And the second one is “INTEGRATION OF THE HINGE ON THE TILT DEVICE” which is translated into Spanish integration of the hinge into the folding device. Two patents that would confirm some of the leaks so far, namely that it would have a design in the style of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold and that the camera would be located in its frame.
