The American company Meta has allowed users of the social networks Facebook and Instagram to post non-exchangeable tokens (NFT) on their pages.
As reported by Ukrinform, the company’s press service informed excitement.
“We offer the opportunity to publish digital collections on Facebook and Instagram. Now you can connect your digital wallet to any app to share your NFT on both social networks,” said Meta.
According to TechCrunch, the company has been experimenting with implementing NFTs on both of its platforms since May.
It is noted that it is not yet clear whether this feature is available from NFT broadcasting in all countries around the world.
Fungible Tokens (NFTs) are a special type of cryptocurrency that differs from most cryptocurrencies, such as Zcash, and from most exchangeable network or service tokens in origin. It represents entities that exist only in their own cryptosystem.
