ASUS has introduced a new line of Vivobook OLED notebooks, which, as the name suggests, uses organic light-emitting diode-based displays to raise the bar for the range, which is generally aimed at the consumer market.
The new Vivobook OLED will be sold in three screen sizes, from Diagonal 14, 15 and 16 inches. Its panels are the star of these tech-packed laptops Nano Edge OLEDup to 3.2K resolution, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut support, PANTONE verification and TÜV Rheinland certification for low emissions of harmful blue light.
These types of screens are usually used in the professional market, although ASUS focuses on general purpose notebooks, “ideal for everyday productivity, casual gaming and entertainment”. For this they offer a Variable refresh rate up to 120 Hz and a response time of 0.2 milliseconds. Its contrast ratio is also high at 1,000,000:1, and it also has HDR600 high dynamic range support.

In addition to the screens, they feature an eye-catching, thin and light design with a metallic look in black or gray. The hinge allows laptops to open up to 180 degrees for easy content sharing or collaboration, and has comprehensive I/O capabilities with one USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one USB 2.0 and HDMI ports, and a combined audio connector.
As for the internal hardware, it uses twelfth generation Intel Core processors, Alder Lake, complemented by up to 16 GB of DDR4 memory with a frequency of 3200 MHz and an SSD with a capacity of up to 1 Tbyte for internal storage. There is wireless connectivity with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, as well as a webcam with a privacy cover.

The Vivobook OLED notebooks will come pre-installed with Windows 11 and will ship with sa a free three-month subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud, along with the usual collection of ASUS apps, including GlideX for screen sharing between devices; MyASUS for easy access to updates, apps, customer service and performance optimization; and ScreenXpert 3 for easy management of multi-screen systems. No retail prices have been announced for the series, which can be purchased through the retail channel and official website.
