Now in the Explore Tab (Search and suggestions) users can navigate to the relevant option and select several images at onceand not one by one as before. In this way, it is possible to notify the algorithms of the social network that such content is not wanted.

• Soon, Instagram will also start testing a feature that will allow users to compose. List of keywords, emoticons, emojis and hashtags in suggested posts that they don’t care about and don’t want to see.

Interestingly, the new content controls emerged after users were outraged by the changes they wanted to implement on the platform. In addition to the Makara stream on the feed, many Instagram users are frustrated by the amount of content recommended from strangers.

It’s unclear when the new features will become available to everyone. They are currently being tested.
