As the energy deficit grew due to global warming, industrialization and increasing world population, energy resources were rapidly depleted accordingly. Yelkenbiçer said there is a great need for the Energy Check-up Project: “As energy resources are depleted, energy prices are rising rapidly. Therefore, the importance and necessity of saving energy emerges as a concept that is better understood every day. The “Energy Check-Up” project, which we have set up to reduce production costs and increase competitiveness, starts with this agreement that we signed today for this purpose. In this context, by partnering with Setaş Energy, an accredited company based in İzmir, we are launching an important service where our members will not pay a price for more efficient energy consumption and savings. As part of the project, free energy check-up activities will be carried out in our members’ companies and energy efficiency will be significantly increased on a company basis.”
