OUR Apple releases a new update for iPhones as well as iPad which are updated to the oldest version iOS 12. This new update aims to fix a security issue recently discovered by the company that was originally identified and fixed in iOS 15.

According to information published by the Cupertino giant himself, the error he discovered is due to a failure in web kitwhich allegedly allows any website can run malicious code on device user. In the document, the company claims that this bug was only discovered thanks to an anonymous researcher.

Update recommendation is for devices Iphone 5s, iPhone 6, iphone 6 plus, iPad Air, iPad mini 2, ipad mini 3 as well as ipod touch (6th generation) or any later device that has not yet been updated to the latest available version of the company’s operating system.

You can download a fixed version of the operating system in the same way as any other update, you only need to access the ‘settings‘, going to option ‘General‘ and input ‘Software update‘.
