Lenovo Glasses T1, Lenovo’s leap into augmented reality

Lenovo announced on this first day of IFA 2022, which is likely one of the most prominent advertisements, with one of those devices that will be talked about a lot and that for many has become one of those gadgets that we hope we will be able to try someday. It doesn’t seem possible in the short term, as its debut will be exclusively in China, but that could change significantly in a few months.

But what are we talking about? well Lenovo Glasses T1, glasses for augmented reality that connect with a cable to our smartphone, computer or other compatible devices, and which allow us to view its contents through glasses, because each “glass” is actually a FullHD (1920 × 1080) resolution screen. They are initially compatible with Windows, Android and iOS and allow connections via USB-C, HDMI and Lightning (with an optional adapter).

The screens are built from Micro OLED panel with a super high contrast ratio of 10,000:1 and capable of providing a refresh rate 60 hertz and certified for both reduced emission of harmful blue light and reduced flicker to prevent eye fatigue. These features mean that these Lenovo T1 glasses can be used to stream video and play games from connected mobile devices, but also as a privacy solution when we want to check content privately in a public space.
