Lighting system moodUP fully customizable and allows the owner to choose from 22 colors on the top of the door. The lower part also has a sophisticated lighting system, but allows you to choose “only” one of 19 colors for customization.

However, it has other systems that can be used to change the color of equipment. That’s because it brings color themes dubbed “Season”, “Place”, “Mood” or “Pop” that promise to represent places like nature.

According to LG, the purpose of the refrigerator is to create a “feeling of well-being through the use of soft colors.” To make this setting, you will only need to touch the door or use the app to make the desired settings.

Even though LED panels have been designed to add more personality to the environment, they also serve an important function for owners. If the door is left open for a long time, it will flash repeatedly to attract the attention of those responsible for the product.

To increase people’s interaction with the device, LG has also made a welcome message that appears when someone approaches the refrigerator. In addition, the company has made sure that the door glows brighter at night to “help with midnight snacks.”

Music and Bluetooth sync

MoodUP also offers a built-in speaker system with Bluetooth sync. This allows you to connect mobile devices or computers to the refrigerator – no matter how strange it may sound, reading this kind of information.

So you can make it play songs from the LG music collection that match the color system of the LED bar. This allows it to change color in sync with the music being played by the device. The company’s idea is to bring a “feeling of vivacity and fun.”

Images posted so far show it could have InstaView technology that allows you to see what foods are inside the fridge. Thanks to this, LED screens turn into glass and become completely transparent. However, LG did not mention in the press release if MoodUP would have such technology.

While the manufacturer has released few details, the first published images show that the refrigerator is available in two different models. One of them is a four-door, the other is with two freezers.
