As reported by Ukrinform, the Ministry of Statistics reported this on Telegram.

“Estonia is a mentor and a friend in digitalization. When we started to build a digital state, the first country we looked at was Estonia. Thanks to their support, we got a lot of important knowledge and experience that formed the basis of Ukraine’s digital transformation.”

The Ministry of Digitization emphasized that in three years Ukraine has managed to carry out large-scale digitization of public services.

“This is exactly what we will export to Estonia – the best digital applications. That is why the Ministry of Digital Affairs of Ukraine and the Ministry of Economy and Communication of Estonia signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of digital transformation.”

The digital state architecture is very similar in Ukraine and Estonia. “So most of our developments and services will be easily adapted to this country. One of the first steps is to create an Action-based application in Estonia in 4 months. We will help our Estonian colleagues implement user-friendly government services and continue to build together the best digital governments in the world.”

As reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine and Great Britain plan to sign an agreement on digital trade.
