Uptodown is a third-party Android app store with over 130 million monthly active users worldwide. Among Uptodown users, last year’s Android 11 ranks first with a 29.5% market share. Next up is the even older Android 10 with a 25.2% score.

Third place is Android 9 Pie with 11.5% points, followed by Android 8.1 Oreo with 11% points. The new Android 12 is now installed on only 2.6% of user devices. He is only in fifth place.

Uptodown also gave information about its users’ device manufacturers and the most frequently used browsers. According to Uptodown, Samsung occupies more than 31% of the market, followed by Chinese Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo and Vivo. Chrome is the most used browser with 83% share.
