On September 11, shortly after the LCS Champion of North America collects the trophy, we will begin the draw for the League of Legends 2022 World Championship Adventure!
Preliminary phase draw
In the draw of the 2022 World Championship, the 12 teams in the qualifying phase will be divided into three bags based on their previous performances in their respective regions. To ensure that the groups are compatible with each other in terms of performance, we have divided the teams into bags before drawing. After that, the teams in these bags will be divided into two groups of six, Group A and Group B, for the qualifying phase of the World Championship.
in bag 1 There will be LPL 4th, LCK 4th, LEC 3rd and PCS 2nd.
in bag 2 There will be LEC 4th, LCS 3rd, VCS 2nd and LJL 1st.
in bag 3 There are LCO 1st, CL 1st, LLA 1st and CBLOL 1st.
No team will be in the same group as any other team from their own region. The qualifiers start on September 29 in Mexico City.
Group stage draw
After the preliminary qualifying draw, the group stage draw will be drawn. The remaining 12 teams were previously divided into three bags based on their performance in their respective regions. The teams in these three bags will be divided into four groups of four for the group stage of the World Championship.

NOTE: The winners of the Qualifying Stage will be divided directly into four groups, each in a different group, once the qualifying rounds are over and will not be part of the draw.
No team will be in the same group as any other team from their own region. If a draw causes or is certain to cause this situation in the future, the affected team will be placed in the next qualifying group. The group stage matches begin on October 7 in New York.
