As we have already told you in other previous posts, Xiaomi is immersed in a complete redesign of its interface for the next version of MIUI 14 and many native apps that we find in its system. They are modified on the aesthetic level and also in the functionalities that we find in them.

And this exactly applies to MIUI recorder app updated to v3.2.8.9. featuring a complete redesign and functionality that we lost in previous updates like the option to record our phone calls. In this article, we show you in detail what this new app looks like and what all its options are.

Much more minimalist aesthetics and the ability to categorize our recordings

As we said, thanks to MIUIes team we were able to learn that MIUI 13 recorder app has been officially updated with some interesting news, an app that you can download completely free and install like any other apk on your phone.

As you can see in the pictures, the design of this app has changed a bit compared to what we had before and Xiaomi decided to provide it. a much more minimalist and uncluttered aesthetic so that access to saved items is simple and direct.

In fact, at the top of the screen you see that we have different categories for our records to maintain a certain order. Some categories where “Searches” are particularly prominenta section where we can access the different recordings of the calls we made, for this simply, once we make a call, we will have to access this application and click the bottom button to start a recording.

we’ll find out later Xiaomi will redesign the “Dialer” app to directly integrate this functionality and we don’t need to access the recorder app, but that’s the way we should be able to do it right now.

For the rest, this tool will allow us to record fast from the bottom button of the screen, set tokens on our recordings and even set them to the quality we want doneIt’s an app that works really well and now has a much nicer aesthetic and we’ll see soon with MIUI 14.
