Apple on Wednesday presented its new products, including the Apple Watch smartwatch, the 2nd generation AirPods Pro earphones, and the anticipated iPhone and iPhone Pro smartphones of the latest 14th series.
Apple’s official presentation took place online on Wednesday, according to Ukrinform.
The first updated product of the company “Apple” was the Apple Watch Series 8. The updated version received many innovations. In particular, the engineers expanded the health monitoring possibilities, improved the physical protection of the device, and created updated sensors built in. Now the watch will be able to better monitor the oxygen level in the blood and measure the temperature.
At the same time, for the first time in the eighth series of its smartwatches, Apple introduced the automatic detection of a traffic accident function called Crash Detection. It is based on the built-in accelerometer. The function works according to a certain algorithm, and if the owner does not cancel the operation, the Apple Watch will begin to call the recovery service, transmitting the coordinates, sound from the microphone and sensors of the health monitoring system. The watch will start priced at $399 with GPS functionality and $499 with built-in SIM card option in the US.
On Wednesday, the company’s engineers separately unveiled the cheaper Apple Watch SE series of watches, which do not differ much in appearance from the older models, but drop in functionality and $299 respectively for versions with GPS and electronic SIM cards.
In the meantime, the main innovation of this year in the smartwatch series was the Apple Watch Ultra model. It is designed for those who do extreme sports or work in difficult conditions. The watch features a titanium case, enlarged display, new functions such as barometer, durable straps and an expanded battery that can hold a charge for up to 36-60 hours depending on the type of activity. The operating temperature range of the Ultra series is wider compared to Apple’s regular watches, the novelty also has a loudspeaker for alarm signaling. In addition, the gadget can be used as a real underwater computer during diving – with the ability to plan, record the water temperature, diving depth and other functions. The price of the novelty in the United States will start at $ 799, the product will be available from September 27.
The next updated product offered by Apple was the second generation AirPods Pro wireless earbuds. They are characterized by the use of the new Spatial Sound system based on the H2 chip, which provides richer sound in various conditions. Also, the gadget has touch-sensitive volume control with the help of fingers. And the new battery now provides up to six hours of continuous autonomous operation on a single charge.
In addition, the earphone storage bag is equipped with an additional alarm speaker, which will allow you to find them inside or outside faster in case they get lost inside. AirPods Pro will start at $249 in the United States and will be available from September 23.

The Apple company left the traditionally anticipated presentation of the updated iPhone series at the end of the presentation.
Both the smaller iPhone 14 and the larger iPhone 14 Pro have undergone improvements and gained new capabilities.
In particular, the iPhone 14 was equipped with A15 Bionic chips, the screens received ceramic protection, and the battery capabilities were expanded in terms of runtime. At the same time, engineers worked on cameras that received advanced autofocus systems and photo processing algorithms at different distances. The company also announced improvements to its video stabilization system.
Among other things, the iPhone 14 has the same Crash Detection system as the Apple Watch Series 8 and the new “Emergency SOS via Satellite” system. The latter allows you to use satellite communication to transmit your location, especially in areas where there is no GPS communication. For now this system can work in the US and Canada and will be free for the next two years. The iPhone 14 will start at $799 in the United States.
The highlight of Apple’s final presentation was the presentation of the new flagship iPhone 14 Pro, which traditionally received more innovative functions. The first thing the eye notices is the absence of the usual black cutout for cameras at the top of the screen. This is perhaps the most important exterior feature of the new flagship, now called the “dynamic island” and seamlessly integrated into the graphic design of the new widgets.
In addition to the new functions that the iPhone 14 received, the Pro version received the latest A16 Bionic chip, completely different displays with significantly improved dynamics, as well as a new camera and sensor system. Moreover, the company has now focused on the photo and video features of the model, saying that they are the best among all smartphones. Yes, iPhone 14 Pro lets you take photos with a high level of detail in a wider range of lighting.
As the company claims, photos on the iPhone 14 Pro can compete with photos from professional studios thanks to the new ProRAW system and sensors of up to 48 MP. Additionally, macro photography tools have been improved, allowing you to capture more detailed images now.
Video capture has also expanded its existing features, allowing you to shoot 4k video at 24fps.
It will be possible to pre-order the iPhone 14 Pro on September 9, but they will go on sale from September 16. The new products will cost between $999 for the 6.1-inch version and $1099 for the 6.7-inch version.
