This was announced by Volodymyr Taftay, head of the Ukrainian State Space Agency (SCAU), in an interview with Ukrinform.

“Work on connecting Ukraine to the Starlink system has been carried out by the State Space Agency since June 2021,” he said.

Also, Taftay said during a visit to the US in January this year, representatives of the State Tax Administration discussed further cooperation with representatives of SpaceX. According to him, this kind of cooperation is very fruitful at the moment.

As Ukrinform reports, SpaceX founder Elon Musk has been providing Starlink stations and satellite internet access to Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale Russo-Ukrainian war.

Starlink is a project of Ilona Mask’s SpaceX company that provides access to broadband internet via a satellite network. The speed of such an Internet is up to 1 Gbps for each subscriber, and you can use it anywhere in the world.
