Two new surprise premieres meet audiences on Disney+ Day. “BTS: PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE-LA”, a recording of South Korean BTS’s extraordinary performance in Los Angeles, and “ANDOR”, a new perspective on the Star Wars universe, will premiere September 8 on Disney+.

Disney+ is also offering 30 discounts for a month to those who want to join, especially for this important day.

Disney+ presents two more premieres to the public, especially for the September 8 Disney+ Day celebrations. Pop icons of the 21st century, “BTS: PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE-LA”, the recording of the exciting Los Angeles performance of the global superstar group South Korean BTS, and the original series “ANDOR”, which offers a different perspective on the legendary Star Wars universe. The preview scene will be available on Disney+ starting September 8.

“BTS: PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LA” features the live performance of BTS concerts to be held at the Los Angeles SoFi Stadium (November 27-28 and December 1-2) in late 2021. The concert film, which focuses on the band’s performance, features performances of the GRAMMY® nominated hits “Dynamite”, “Butter” and “Permission to Dance”. Short for “Bangtan Sonyeondan” in Korean and “Beyond the Scene” in English, BTS is a South Korean boy group that has captured the hearts of millions of fans worldwide since their debut in June 2013. It consists of BTS, RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook. The concert film is produced by HYBE, a subsidiary of Den of Thieves, along with Borderless Films.

“ANDOR” brings a new perspective to the Star Wars universe, focusing on Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. The series tells the story of the burgeoning resistance to the Empire and how humans and planets are involved. At the same time, the series depicts a period of danger, deceit and intrigue that Cassian encounters on his journey and that turns him into a rebellious hero. Diego Luna returns as Cassian Andor, joining the cast of Genevieve O’Reilly, Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller and Fiona Shaw. Kathleen Kennedy, Tony Gilroy, Sanne Wohlenberg, Diego Luna and Michelle Rejwan are part of the production staff, while Tony Gilroy is the creator and executive producer of the series.

Disney+ Day features exciting worldwide premieres from studios such as Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and more. As previously announced, “Mike”, “Pinocchio”, “Wedding Season”, “Cars on the Road”, “Epic Adventures with Bertie Gregory” and “Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi’s Return” will also be available on Disney+ on September 8th.
