How note themselves Anonymous, the Russian Ministry of Culture is responsible not only for state policy regarding art, cinema, archives, copyright and cultural heritage, but also for censorship.

What hackers posted

• A total of 700 gigabytes of Russian government data was released.
• Among them are 500,000 emails.
• The largest share of information is data from the Ministry of Culture: the size of the archive of the department is 446 gigabytes.
• It consists of 230,000 e-mails.

“More than 700 gigabytes of Russian government data have been combined. This data includes more than 200,000 emails from the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.”, – It is said in the first tweet. The latter reports pretty much the same information, only adding that most of the data is from the Ministry of Culture.

Files also include department working documents, laws, power of attorney, statements, minutes, reports, court orders, potential employee resumes, and more.
