There are enough rumors about Intel’s discrete graphics cards – literally every day, insiders leak another important information, test and even photos. And Intel itself is also actively throwing out interesting data – the day before yesterday, during an interview, representatives of the “blue team” said that the flagship graphics cards in video games are more powerful than the RTX 3060, which is pretty good, that this is Intel’s first discrete graphics Assuming it’s a series. But no longer need to wait for insiders from confidential information providers – today, September 9, an Intel employee presented in a short interview all the features of all the company’s graphics cards.
These are video cards from the Intel Arc series with indexes A770, A750 and A580. The company positions the younger video card A580 as an affordable solution, but in fact, the characteristics of the model are quite good. This model runs on the ACM-G10 graphics chip, which includes 24 Xe cores, 24 compute units for better monitoring, and 384 XMX engines. At the same time, the video card has 8 GB of internal GDDR6 video memory with a bandwidth of 512 GB/s and a graphics core frequency of 1700 MHz. It is not entirely clear which NVIDIA graphics card this model will compete with, but you have to wait for the tests – probably under the influence of the RTX 3050.
As insiders reported, the Arc A750 video card is equipped with exactly the same ACM-G10 graphics processor, but slightly “pumped” – it has 28 Xe cores, 28 ray tracing blocks, and the number of XMX engines has been increased. 448. The most interesting thing here is that the same 8 GB of GDDR6 memory with the same bandwidth of 512 GB/s is used, only the frequency of the graphics core is increased to 2050 MHz. The flagship Arc A770 graphics card, Intel’s best solution so far, has the same ACM-G10 chip but with 32 Xe cores, 32 better tracking units and 512 XMX engines. The frequency of the graphics core has been increased to 2100 MHz.
It is important to note that the Arc A770 video card will have two different video memory configurations – the younger model will have 8 GB of video memory, while the top model will have 16 GB. The bandwidth in this case reaches 560 GB/s, although the manufacturer uses the same GDDR6 memory as in the previous two video cards. Unfortunately, the manufacturer did not offer real testing on video games, and there is also no information about the price of these models or the date when their sales officially started. Most likely, Intel will try to launch their new products before NVIDIA’s launch, but there is not enough time left. But on New Year’s holidays they will definitely appear on store shelves, so you have to wait a bit.
