Xiaomi this week announced the MIJIA Smart Pillow, smart pillow that can fully control sleep. The launch of the device took place in China following a crowdfunding campaign launched in recent days.

Equipped with a piezoelectric sensor, it is capable of displaying users’ accurate sleep information by capturing data such as heart rate, snoring, body movements and breathing.

With the help of artificial intelligence, it will be able to conduct a series of health and fitness monitoring of users. Thus, it will present the details of the sleep state, such as the duration of deep sleep and the ability to generate scores. The system is similar to the one integrated into the company’s smart bracelets.

All data collected while users sleep will be sent to other Xiaomi smart devices via Bluetooth connection. This system will be powered by four AAA batteries that promise up to 60 days of continuous use of the device.

For those who are afraid of short circuits or similar situations, Xiaomi guarantees that it is equipped with a low voltage power supply. Thus, Xiaomi MIJIA Smart Pillow is considered safe and reliable by the company.

Knowing about the different tastes of the public before going to bed, the manufacturer took care not to release the product in one size. Thus, you can choose between 10 and 12 centimeters. Ergonomic, it also promises to provide comfort when combined with sleep monitoring technology.

The sensor responsible for capturing all this information is located right in the center of the pillow. However, Xiaomi points out that users will not be able to feel it, being able to sleep soundly without the risk of feeling the object on their head.
