Google released a stable version of Android 12 in the fall of 2021. However, the latest version of the system is not spreading fast.

That’s why, according to Uptodown, the alternative app store with over 130 million users, Android 12 only accounts for 2.6% of visitors to the online platform. At the same time, this allowed the new operating system to take only fifth place in the overall ranking.

In fourth place was Android 8.1 Oreo (11%), in third place – Android 9 Pie (11.5%), and in second place – Android 10 (25.2%). Surprisingly, the leader is the latest version of the “green robot” – Android 11. It accounted for 29.5% of devices.

Earlier, Google announced the date of the annual conference for Google I / O 2022 developers. It will be held from 11 to 12 May. And above it will be the announcement of Android 13, given the experience of previous years.
