The Turkish company Baykar is developing a new attack aircraft that will have reconnaissance-strike capabilities and will be created taking into account privacy requirements. Given this number of factors, it most likely belongs to the Bayraktar TB line.

A very interesting detail is seen in the layout plans of the Baykar research and production center to be established in Ukraine, a new UAV is depicted, different from the famous Baykar drones: Bayraktar TB2, Bayraktar TB3, Akıncı or Kızılelma. And it should be noted that such things are almost not a designer’s fantasy, so you can look at this drone as carefully as possible.

The first striking is the flat shape of the fuselage, wide wingspan, armament in the form of thrusters and four rounds of ammunition.

As for the wingspan, it is about 16 meters, which is 4 meters more than the Bayraktar TB2, if the scale with respect to humans is preserved. At the same time, the drone is smaller than Akıncı, which has a wingspan of 20 meters.

All it takes to make a drone as flat as possible is to reduce its visibility over radars, which affects the battlefield survivability of a drone of this class. It should also be noted that the drone’s landing gear is retractable. Their height should be greater to provide a greater gap between the ground and the screw.

Also, the ammunition shown allows you to evaluate the combat load of the drone. It can be assumed that these are UMTAS anti-tank missiles from Rocketsan with a range of up to 8 km. The weight of UMTAS is 37.5 kg, giving the drone a combat load of 150 kg.

Given all of the above, it can be assumed that the replenishment of the Bayraktar TB line is expected, since this drone acts in this niche. After Bayraktar TB2 and deck-mounted TB3, Baykar is planning the next generation Bayraktar TB4.
