If you sign up, you will receive a surprise notification every day to upload your content to the platform.

Are you one of those who enter the BeReal freshness? Unknown until recently, this social network offers a different way of introducing yourself to the world: You must wait for BeReal to notify you to upload a photo of what you are currently doing. The idea behind this mechanism is to achieve more spontaneity so that social networks lose some of this perfection spoof created by influencers. And of course, with the competition that exists in social networks, it was clear that BeReal would not suffer for long.

TikTok Now: 10 seconds of photos or videos without knowing when it’s your turn to upload

The innovation reaches mobile applications around the world, including Spain. As TikTok announced on its press blog, Now begins its journey with the freshness and spontaneity approach stolen directly from BeReal. And without blushing, the facilities are exactly the same.

Like the aforementioned BeReal, TikTok Now will send a notification to those who sign up to make them wait to create and upload their content. The notification will be daily. by surprise. And those who want to share what they’ve done will have little time to record it.

The main features of TikTok Now are as follows:

• Users will receive a notification every day to create and upload their content. No one will know when this warning will jump, it will be a surprise.
• TikTok Now will allow a maximum of ten seconds per video or photo.
• The photo or video will be taken by the two cameras of the mobile phone, rear and front.
• Each user will be able to choose who sees their TikTok Now from the app settings.
• TikTok Now will be available in TikTok’s own app and also as a standalone application.

Although TikTok has declared that Now is already available in Spain, we have yet to see it included in our apps: neither on Android nor on iPhone (we also can’t find the standalone app in the mobile stores). It is hoped that it will reach all users in a short time. And even if you use TikTok regularly, it won’t be mandatory: Using Now is optional.
